Human Resources Business Partner

OpenEye, a subsidiary company of Alarm.com, is looking for an HR Business Partner to serve as a day-to-day consultant and partner to the business. This role is critical to providing great internal customer support for day-to-day HR needs, executing and evolving HR practices to fit business needs, and elevating employee learning and development within OpenEye. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills and has a passion for interacting with employees at all levels. They enjoy building strong, lasting relationships and understand they are the key to influencing decision-making and change. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and ambiguity doesn't intimidate them.
Responsibilities:
o Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions o Partner with the business to provide HR expertise in the areas of performance management, employee relations, development and coaching, and organizational development o Integrate and partner with the business, within HR and cross-functionally, to implement solutions and help scale the business. o Own the content and delivery of OpenEye's new hire onboarding program; provide continuous recommendations to enhance the onboarding experience for new employees o Work with managers and employees to address various and complex employee relations issues o Keep up to date on Washington Employment Law changes and advise on matters related to compliance o Work closely with the Alarm.com HR team on company-wide HR initiatives including HRIS enhancements and manager self-service, organizational effectiveness, compensation strategy, and learning and development Required Education, Experience and Skills o 5
years in a dedicated HR role o Bachelor's degree o Experience facilitating employee learning content preferred o Ability to balance multiple time-sensitive deliverables and effectively prioritize, organize, and manage time o Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through o Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgement o Strong client-service focus, responsiveness and ability to build and manage relationships across different levels and functions o Proven employee relations experience with the ability to manage delicate situations with fairness and appropriate outcomes What we provide:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
